What data does your car store?

What data does your vehicle actually store?

NOT all data is PERSONAL, but what data is actually available?

Let's look at what informatin we can find and where it is

In the previous posts, we've talked a lot about information being available, but what information is available and where does it come from? The main sources of data are:

1. Freeze frame data,
2. Collision data retrieved from an event data recorder,
3. Control modules and infotainment systems.

We're going to be creating a number of posts focusing on each of the information sources to explain what it is, how it can be accessed and what it might be able to tell you.
